Five Creative Group started as designFIVE on 5/5/1995 as a boutique graphic design studio based in Fresno, California. Contrary to popular belief, designFIVE started out with just one person, Ron Nikkel, not five as suggested by the name. The “five” in designFIVE originated from its creator’s last name, Nikkel, as in a nickel or five cent piece. But one employee soon turned into three, and then later to seven, as designFIVE built a solid reputation for its urban and progressive designs. Today Five Creative Group serves clients throughout the world throughout a variety of industries with the same progressive philosophy that started it all.
