This cozy den was brought to life with elements of custom woodworking, textural furniture, and unique pieces all inspired by the clients’ favorite places. The design plan built off of existing elements of this unique room - beautiful natural light from the windows and sliding doors, peaked ceiling, stone fireplace, and a unique stained glass window. The stained glass window was accentuated with a custom wall design and bookcase, providing storage and display space for the room. Double doorways created a layout challenge but the furniture selections maximize seating for comfy movie nights and close gatherings while still creating flow and a flexible space for entertaining with the additional chairs. The neutral color palette adds to the lodge feel while the beams and stunning chandelier draw the eyes up and create a focal point that adds dimension and visual interest to the space.
